Frequently asked questions

Why do I need GTM? Isn’t the GA4 code on the website enough?

GTM gives you flexibility. You can add new tags, change events, and test – all without touching your website’s code. Plus everything lives in one place instead of being scattered across files.

We still use Universal Analytics. Is that a problem?

Universal Analytics stopped collecting data in July 2023. If you still rely on it for reporting, it’s time to switch. GA4 is a different system, but it offers better cross-device measurement.

How long does the setup take?

A basic setup takes 3–5 business days. More complex e-commerce with custom events can take longer. I’ll always give you the timeline upfront.

Do you need access to the website code?

Ideally yes, to insert the GTM container. On Shoptet, WooCommerce, and similar platforms we can do it via plugins. Otherwise I’ll send instructions to your developer.
